Osteopathy in Paris 16

Expert hands to understand the pain, restore movement and prevent it from coming back.

Treating movement at the source

Osteopathy treats the body's functional disorders: back pain, neck tension, restricted joints, the recurring niggles athletes know well. At Studio Kael, the consultation begins with a full assessment, covering posture, mobility and history, before any manual work. This is also the strength of an integrated studio: the osteopath talks to your coaches. Lower back pain spotted during a strength session, a shoulder limiting your Reformer work: treatment and training move forward together, under the same roof.

What osteopathy releases

Pain relieved : Back, neck, joints: treating the mechanical cause rather than masking the symptom. Mobility restored : Range of motion you get back, changing the quality of your sessions and your days. Sports recovery : Preventing compensations and injuries before they have time to settle in. A whole body view : The body is read as one system: posture, support, breathing, daily habits.

Consultations by appointment

Appointments are booked directly with the osteopath, on 06 14 93 54 82. Rates are set and communicated by the practitioner; most French private health insurers (mutuelles) reimburse all or part of each session. Studio members are looked after in coordination with the physiotherapist and the sophrologist.

When should I see an osteopath?

As soon as pain or discomfort settles in: back pain, neck pain, a restricted joint, recurring tension. And without waiting for pain to appear: a preventive assessment, particularly for regular athletes, corrects imbalances before they turn into injury.

Are sessions reimbursed?

Osteopathy is not covered by the French state health insurance, but the vast majority of private health insurers (mutuelles) reimburse several sessions a year. You are given an invoice at every consultation.

How many sessions will I need?

One to three sessions are often enough for an acute problem. Long standing conditions sometimes call for spaced out follow up. The osteopath gives you a clear horizon from the initial assessment, without stacking up appointments you do not need.
